Después de lanzar la segunda temporada de Stranger Things, los productores anunciaron que la siguiente temporada tardaría en salir en Netflix.

Ante este hecho muchos fanáticos están decepcionados y ansiosos por el tiempo de espera. Sin embargo, una nueva controversia está surgiendo en torno a esta serie…

Y, ¿cuál es esa controversia?

Una camarógrafa que llevaba trabajando desde la primera temporada con los hermanos Matt y Ross Duffer, Peyton Brown, renunció antes de empezar a grabar la tercera temporada. ¿La razón? Peyton asegura que los hermanos agreden verbalmente a las trabajadoras mujeres. Así lo dio a conocer a través de su cuenta de Instagram.

Because I stand with my sisters. I personally witnessed two men in high positions of power on that set seek out and verbally abuse multiple women. We will rise and we will scream from mountain tops in support of each other and I will not contribute my time, efforts, and talent to such abusive people. There is too much going on in this world to be regressive. There are too many amazing and highly respected men in respective positions of power that I have had the utmost pleasure of working beside. Those are the people I want to surround myself with. Those are the projects I want to be a part of. This industry is no longer led by a “few good men,” but instead by an OCEAN of ASTOUNDING WOMEN. De acuerdo al mensaje, ella presentó su renuncia como muestra de apoyo a sus compañeras que sufrieron insultos, gritos, amenazas e incluso fueron despedidas por culpa de los Duffer.

Después de dichas acusaciones los hermanos contestaron, pidieron disculpas y culparon a los nervios y estrés sus actitudes.

Asimismo aseguraron que tratarán bien a su personal sin importar su género, raza, religión, entre otras cosas.
